Rhino species on the Verge of Extinction

Somewhere deep in Kenya at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, there is the last male white Rhino named Sudan, who is 42years . At this age in the life of a rhino he is considered quite old hence reducing his chances for reproduction despite the fact that there are two other females who are also quite old thus making mating as a natural breeding process minimal. this has meant that the scientists are working overtime on an in vitro fertilization technique because according to the experts the procedure is not as well developed in animals as is in human beings.
Faced with this challenges and the ever eminent threat of poaching , the authorities have placed Sudan under 24 hour armed surveillance apart from removing the horn to reduce the attractiveness to poachers.
